Omg yesterday was really a superb day! Everything was so well I'm glad we went for the AYG Appreciation Night at Singapore Indoor Stadium!! :D

And so, after school it was the usual lunch with 19/09 at market opposite. After that me, wanjing, jaclyn and hazel went to the tjc bus for fun lol. Then yaoxiang came followed by those who had pw meeting(so jealous~)...so we talked and chatted and I did some maths while waiting for Ernest to end music lessons and for 4.30pm to come...people started leaving one by one to go home and for PDPs...and then finally it was time(: So me, Izzah and Ernest went backgate to meet us with the rest of the AYG people...Mr Heng, Sakshi and Weishee was already there...and then we waited for a while before Edwin, Leonard and Kangwei came. Walked out of school and on the way Mr Heng was asking why we were so enthu about it because the whole thing might be sort of boring lol and he didn't want to go at first. Haha but because we wanted to go...he needed to accompany us there too. So took bus 16 to Kallang Leisure Park for early dinner at KFC then went Indoor Stadium to get our tickets and goodie bag hehe.

Omg and then the funny thing happened after we took our goodie bag which contained the AYG mascot, Frasia. It all started with Leonard shaking the lion's head to make the hair stand up and then Mr Heng got so amused by it that he started going around and shaking all of our Frasia's head -.- And then he started using the lion like toilet cleaner(because it really looked like one =X) and then doing cleaning actions Zzz OMG the whole process was really really funny that we all laughed like crazy people. The worse thing was...he started going around to other people and showing them the new hair of Frasia and how they can do it!! This was even more funny la and I laughed till I almost got a sorethroat lah LOL. Imagine a teacher...who was older than us...doing that...haha we really got to know Mr Heng better through this la...that he's actually a very funny and nice teacher too, and abit childish HAHAHA(:

Was supposedly waiting for Nicholas but he ended up being earlier than us and he was already inside the stadium...so we went in after waiting for him for like an hour outside Zzz. My first time in Indoor Stadium...it was quite big actually. So we got to our sits and then luckily Mr Chua and Mr Richard was sitting like two rows below us so I got the chance to pass them the photos haha. Omg funny thing was, Izzah said Mr Heng had used Frasia to poke Mr Chua's head! Lol so childish leh~ (oops!) The whole event started at about 7plus with all the speeches and videos. And then...came the HIGHLIGHT of the event...performance by an International Recording artiste...and the person was...STEPANIE SUN!! Omg its like a free concert by her la...and she sang for two whole hours leh! Hahaha my first concert man, and its free somemore. There couldn't be anything that's nicer(: Her singing was great, although sometimes she seemed emo for some reason. Omg and I love the stage la...its so nice and amazing and the grahics were super cool. The stage could detach and rise suddenly and all sorts of cool stuffs that you can never imagine. Haha I think we had a sneak preview for her real concert which will be today lah hehehe. She sang alot alot of songs and danced to some of them too! And she even sang one of her new songs. Although towards the end of the concert it was abit sad but I think she was really a great singer who sang her heart out for all of us...regardless of whether we are really there to support her or not...and she was really thankful to be able to perform for us too. The last few songs were really nice...and she said something like that 接下来这几首歌都是在我最有感触的时候写的，虽然没有很主打，但是她很喜欢，也希望我们会喜欢...so she sang songs like 遇见 and then 天黑黑 was the last song if i'm not wrong. Omg and the way she sang it was really touching and 很有感情(: Haha and by the time we came out of the stadium...we were almost half deaf already...due to the superb sound system lol. But anyway, Thanks for the wonderful performance! :D

This is a nice visual effect. We all thought she was standing inside...but actually I think she's not there cos after that she appeared at the side of the stage super fast lol.

Too bad I didn't bring the extra camera batteries because towards the end of the concert it was even more spectacular...hais.

Seriously I will never forget this day and I really never regretted volunteering for AYG :D It was really a rewarding experience for all of us...i'm sure all of the rest will agree in some way or another. I'll really miss this whole thing...my Teacher LOs...my Cambodian Team...the Swissotel and the food there(esp the chocolate cake)...everyone who had helped me at the games village...and of course the Appreciation Night where 孙燕姿 sang her heart out for us... ...THE 1ST ASIAN YOUTH GAMES 2009...goodbye~
